Morning Odds and Ends — More Henderson and Tonight’s Game.

For those of you who enjoyed yesterday’s trip back in time to 1972, do yourself a favor and check out Andrew Bucholtz’s incredible piece on the topic over at the always awesome Sporting Madness. Andrew is a fantastic writer, and someone whose work I enjoy reading.

Of course, tonight wraps up the preseason here in Crunchland. Rochester comes in for the back end of a home and home, and the Crunch look to go 3-1 for the preseason. Of course, we’ll have post-game thoughts later tonight.

Will Jared Boll be a member of the Syracuse Crunch in the near future? While it’s not been publicly stated by any reputable outlets, the topic seems to have legs around the blogosphere. It makes some sense, and could be a nice benefit for The Good Guys should it come to pass. More on this later tonight in my post-gamer.

Less than two hours remain on the waiver window for Derek Mackenzie and Jonathan Sigalet. With Nick Holden, David Liffiton and Grant Clitsome already in the fold, the defensive corps is beginning to take shape. The addition of Sigalet and (potentially) Mathieu Roy leaves one spot up for grabs between Andrei Plekhanov, Brett Regner, Kyle Roeder, Tim Filangieri, Jamie Fritsch and Libor Ustrnul. Cast MJ’s vote for Libor U.

Back tonight with reaction, analysis and all the rest.
