Dan Smith Retires

As per LK’s blog on Syracuse.com, Dan Smith has retired.

I won’t go on a long spout about him, as I think the majority know how each of us feel towards Dan.  What I will say, is that the Syracuse Crunch should consider what LK said in his blog, and bring Smitty back in some way for the outdoor game.  Either let him be an honorary captain (although, the way they are making it sound, we could have more famous people in that role), or bring him and any other former Crunch captains/favorites back as a way to show off the history of the team, at this historic event.

Either way, I would like to wish Dan the best of luck with his retirement from hockey and thank him for the effort he gave game in and game out.  Now if you’d excuse me, I have to go find Alex and get her off the ledge.
