Pulp Ravioli!
All in all, not a bad week of work around here.
We touched on some good stuff this week, and next week is shaping up to be just as good. I’ve got some things in the works that should shake out over the next couple of days. These include some season previews of some other AHL teams. My attempt here is to put together a comprehensive season preview of the teams the Crunch will be facing this season. The number of quality AHL sites is actually growing pretty substantially, so I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to cover at least all 17 of this season’s opponents, along with a couple of other teams as well. Thus far, I’ve received commitments for two of these previews — one for Toronto and one for Providence — and I’m hoping to add some more to the queue during September, once camps begin. I’m still working out the logistics of these, so you’ll know as soon as I know. In addition, I’ll be working on a season preview for the Crunch over the next week. It’s going to be a little different from what we’ve done in the past, but I think you’ll like it.
You may have also noticed a couple of cosmetic changes to the site. I added a crude season schedule, which you can find on the new Schedule tab on the home page. One a better looking one comes out, I’ll replace what is currently up there. I’ve also added a page for photos and video that will (hopefully) go live during the season. Finally, I’ve added the ability to rate comments on individual posts. Please use these at your leisure –as the site grows again, I’m hopeful for more comments on the site, and I want to recognize the good stuff in the posts. Of course, I really want all of you to comment on the posts. Feel free to jump in; that’s how we know you like what we’re doing.
Expect a couple of posts next week. If you haven’t done so yet, start following us on Twitter @chairmanhows, as new posts are tweeted there. Also keep visiting Anaheim Calling — that’s a great group of people over there, and they’re eager to get to know us. For some of you, that means putting on pants.
