Highlights from tonight’s Crunch and Jackals wins

Comment poll time. It’s the new year and I want to start off on a positive note. So, with that in mind, I want to ask all you hockey fans (or footie fans, 
) the following:
What makes your favorite player your favorite player? Why do certain players catch your attention, earn your applause and yells, cause you to behave in a way you might not? We all see probably anywhere between 30-40 names pass through our teams every year (probably less for the NHL fans among us, but still, the idea is the same) and yet some names stick while others are just dust in the wind. Why is that? What do they do for you, personally, that gets your attention?
This could be looked at two different ways: either your favorite player for all time, the one name you’ll always remember, or your favorite player this season, last season, etc. I know they might be different, if your “all time” favorite doesn’t play for your team anymore. Just have fun with this…let’s remember why we love this sport to begin with.
