Not to be redundant, but as previously announced, I’m here, as a Tampa native, resident and longtime Lightning fan, to serve as a sort of liaison, someone to give some insight into the big club’s perspective, issues and motivations. I am a recently-minted staff writer for BoltProspects, the premier site for Lightning prospect news, so I definitely take great interest in what’s happening on the farm and I’m looking forward to following (thanks to AHL Live!) the Crunch’s quest for a Calder Cup as much as possible next season.
After some discussion with the fearless leaders here, it seems appropriate, given the partnership between the Lightning and Crunch organizations is still very new, to provide an overview to help breed familiarity. To that end, my first contribution here will be a “Meet the Lightning” series which I hope will bring interested Crunch fans up to speed on the Lightning organization, from top to bottom. So, there’s that to look forward to.
