Just a quick link recommendation. This is the kind of news I love to see out of other places, as I just don’t have the time right now to research this stuff. Lightning 101 posted a blog entry detailing prospect Vlad Namestnikov (Seriously? We’re going to have to pronounce that?) and his chances at making the Crunch out of camp this year. He also put together an if/then kind of thing should a lockout occur. I applaud his work! Check it out.
Also, just a little wishful thinking of my part, but unsigned AHL free agent Trevor Frischmon (remember him? I bet you do) mentioned on his Twitter that he is going to be moving in with TBL player Nate Thompson. Wouldn’t it be great to see Frisch back in a Crunch uniform? I know the AHL journeyman position is rather full already, but we can use another in case this whole lockout thing doesn’t happen, right?
