And the Crunch players who made it onto Tampa’s roster are…
–D: Keith Aulie
–F: Cory Conacher and PC Labrie.
I am floored but very, very excited for Labrie. I really didn’t expect him to stay up, but this is wonderful for the guy with the biggest heart on our team these past few months. Every guy in the system is quality and I know all three of these gentlemen will be great additions to their roster. Labrie showed a (surprising?) scoring touch during his time in Syracuse, and I hope his good fortune continues.
Now, of course, comes the nail-biting. Mike Angelidis, Kyle Wilson (a new addition to the roster), and JT Wyman will need to pass through waivers before playing here. Matt Taormina is injured and cannot be waived until he is fit to play, but it’s assumed he will be waved once he’s healed.
Tyler Johnson, Mark Barberio and Radko Gudas do not have to pass through waivers and should be back in time for tomorrow night’s tilt at Rochester. Alex Hutchings has been recalled from the ECHL due to to Richard Panik’s three-game suspension for the late hit on a Rochester player during last weekend’s game. Evan Oberg has already cleared waivers and was “sent down” earlier this week. Aulie and Labrie, should Tampa want to send them back, will also need to pass through before playing here again.
